Mary Tobin - Holistic Massage Lecturer and Director / Owner of Embody

Mary has been working in the field of Complimentary and Alternative medicine for the last 13 years, first qualifying in Holistic Massage, Anatomy and Physiology and subsequently a post grad in Aromatherapy. In 1998 Mary took up a post as main Lecturer of Holistic Massage in a leading Dublin College and joined the IBAT team in 2007 as Holistic massage Specialist where she lectured for three years. In 2006 Mary studied On Site Massage and Stress Management in London and set up her own business "Cloud Nine" offering well being and life balance services in the corporate sector. Mary is committed to teaching excellence within this field and also provides job opportunities within her company Embody Training and Wellness Centre to students on graduation.

 

Sandra Murphy - Lecturer Anatomy & Physiology Holistic Massage Indian Head and Teacher Training.

Sandra entered the Complementary Therapy field in 2006 and qualified as a holistic massage therapist. She went on to complete the ITEC Diploma in Indian Head Massage in 2007 and also holds certificates in both Ear Candling & Hot Stone Massage. She is committed to providing personalised treatments to each client; encorporating both their physical & mental well-being in the treatment. She has several years' experience working with Cloud Nine Corporate and in more recent years has qualified in the ITEC Diploma in Lecturing. She has a strong work ethic and her aim is to "ensure students reach their full potential" in their chosen course by offering a friendly yet professional teaching environment.

 

Stefano Manassero - Lecturer in Sports Massage

SENIOR THERAPIST TO BOHEMIAN’S FC FOR 8 YEARS

Stefano Manassero Sport Massage Tutor - Hailing from Venice in Italy Stefano was Senior Therapist to Bohemians F.C. for 8 years. Stefano  practices in first aid, sport therapies, injury management and rehabilitation, gym instruction and nutrition at his very successful  Sports & Health Clinic in Swords. www.applehealthdublin.comStefano has also worked for a number of celebrities such as Ralph Fiennes, Aidan Quinn, Jane Seymore, Kevin Spacey and more. His qualifications  include:Neuro Muscular Therapy Sport Massage, Myofascial Trigger Points, Dry Needling, Body building Instructor, Fitness Instructor, Yoga and Pilates Teacher, Personal Trainer, Holistic Massage and Reflexology. He also has qualifications inEnergize for Exercise Sport Nutrition with the University of East London and Occupational First Aid with St John’s Ambulance

 

Tara Gray - Lecturer in Reflexology Aromatherapy & Holistic Massage

Tara has been working in Complementary Therapy for many years and holds qualifications in Holistic Massage, Anatomy & Physiology, Reflexology, Aromatherapy and On Site Massage. Tara has a real passion for her work and in particular for Reflexology and Aromatherapy which she teaches here at Embody. She has extensive clinical experience and has specialised in Corporate On Site Massage for the last 6 years working with companies such as DHL, Brightwater, Fergal Quinn, Ingersol Rand, Aer Lingus and more. Apart from extensive knowledge Tara brings energy and enthusiasm into her teaching.

 

Marie Farrell - Lecturer in Anatomy & Physiology Diet & Nutrition & Holistic Massage.

Marie currently works full time in Blackrock Clinic and has extensive medical background experience of 15 years. Marie holds ITEC qualifications in Anatomy and Physiology, Holistic Massage and On Site Massage. She also holds qualifications in Psychology and counseling. Marie is a member of the International Federation of Spiritual Healers and holds qualifications in Spiritual Healing and Psychic Studies. Marie specialises in teaching Anatomy & Physiology, Diet & nutrition and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her students.
