Make-up: Understand explain & select make-up according to the occasion, client colouring & preferences. Fake-tan application

Unit 11
Manicure & Pedicure
Understand explain & demonstrate use of the following products & tools; emery boards, cuticle massage cream/oil, cuticle remover Hoofstick tipped orangewood stick. Cuticle nipper, buffers, pedicure rasp, nail enamels, frosted, cream, light, dark and French manicure.

Unit 12
Waxing
Understand, explain and demonstrate the use of the following hot wax, cool wax & sugaring. Students will be able to treat the following areas under arm, bikini, full leg wax,lip,chin,forearms & eyebrows

Anatomy for beauty therapist that will be covered; Students will be able to recognize skin diseases, disorders & show knowledge of whether they are contraindicated or not.

Endocrine System, Muscles, Bones, Nerves of the face, neck, shoulders & arms
Functions of the hair, nails and skin (All units have theory, practical and case Histories

Course Duration: 8 months
